Vijay's 'Master' gets a treat from Twitter: Here's what and how you can use it!

Social media giant Twitter has honored Vijay's much-anticipated movie 'Master' by releasing Thalapathy's 'Emoji' ahead of the official release of the movie. In what has become a treat from Twitter and a relishing moment for the fans, the iconic emoji has been going viral as thousands of fans are using it while posting about the movie. 

The fans go agog and they have been staunchly waiting for the release of the movie. 'Master' is ready for the theatrical release and it will be hitting the big screens on January 13 during the Pongal holidays. As the release is just days away, the ardent fans of Thalapathy have been waiting for a real Pongal treat, and along with the fans, the theaters are also hoping to have a potential revival from the lockdown as Master would be the first big Tamil movie to get released in the theaters after a long time. 

The movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. While the teaser was released during Diwali last year, the movie is going to be Vijay's Pongal treat to his fans. Days ahead of the release, Twitter has now released Vijay's Emoji, which has been dedicated to the movie. Fans can just tweet the hashtag of #Master to see the emoji and the emoji has been created after getting inspired by Vijay's role in the movie. 

When the Emoji came to light, the hashtags 'Master Film', 'Master Pongal', and 'Vijay the Master' got trended with over lakhs of tweets, which had captured how the fans are excited to use the emoji and how they are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. The movie is produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. 

While Vijay plays the lead role, Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead, and Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Gauri Kishan have been inducted to the important roles. Anirudh has composed the music and the songs had got a decent reception across and beyond the borders. Vijay will be playing as a college professor while Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a negative role. 

The movie has got a U/A certificate from the censor board and the movie was supposed to be released on April 9, 2020. However, the COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown had deferred the movie release in the wake of the theater closures and the movie team had asserted that the movie will be released only in the theaters, it now prepares to dominate the big screens during Pongal. 

It must be noted that Twitter had earlier released such emojis of the actors for the much-anticipated movies. The social media giant had released the emoji of actor Suriya that was dedicated to his movie ' Soorarai Pottru'. Superstar Rajinikanth has got such emojis for his movies '2.0' and 'Kaala' while Suriya starred 'NGK' had also partnered with Twitter India for the emoji feature.
