Vikram Delivers Infectious Energy In New ‘Chola Chola' Album... Check Out The Ponniyin Selvan's Second Single

After getting a huge response to the teaser and the first song Ponni Nadhi, the makers released the second single, Chola Chola. The song is thematic to battle scenario, featuring actor Vikram, who plays Adhithya Karikalan in the gripping historical drama, Ponniyin Selvan 1 is a Tamil film directed by the veteran director Manirathnam and scored by A R Rahman, a personal favourite of the director's.

Ilango Krishnan, who also wrote the lyrics for Ponni Nadhi, the first single, penned for this second single too, titled Chola Chola, which have vocals by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar. Early that evening, Lyca Productions teased the fans with a sneak peek video. Lyca Productions unveiled the second single by taking us to Twitter and wrote, "This is our battle cry. #CholaChola single from #PS1 OUT NOW on @Tipsofficial YouTube Channel!".

The audio track was released in a grandiose launch event, where the Tamil version of the song was released by popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The launch event was presented by the featured actors, Vikram and Karthik Sivakumar at 5.30 pm. The film's creators, Lyca Productions, shared a series of images in which they are all seen swaggeringly adorning the occasion., as they wrote, "All set & suited up for the LAUNCH our very own ADITYA KARIKALAN & VANDHIYATHEVAN are here in style"

Ponniyin Selvan, which is being presented by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions, backing up by Madras Talkies in collaboration with Lyca Productions. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R. Parthiban are just a few of the big names in this eagerly awaited project's ensemble cast. This highly anticipated flick, is scheduled to open in theatres on September 30 multi-lingually -  Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
