Viral Buzz: Thalapathy Vijay to bid farewell to acting with this acclaimed director's masterpiece?

The Telugu film industry is buzzing with excitement as the rumours of Thalapathy69 are getting stronger by the day. According to some reliable sources, the legendary actor Thalapathy Vijay is in talks with the acclaimed director Vetri Maaran to collaborate for his final film before he retires from the silver screen.

The film is said to be produced by DVV Entertainment, one of the leading production houses in the south. VetriMaaran, who is known for his realistic and hard-hitting films, has reportedly narrated a powerful story to Vijay, who was impressed by the script. The duo is expected to create magic on the screen, as they are both masters of their craft and have a huge fan following.

Many fans and critics have been dreaming of this combo for a long time, as they believe that VetriMaaran can bring out the best in Vijay, who has been entertaining the masses for over three decades. The film is also seen as a perfect tribute to Vijay’s illustrious career, as he has decided to hang up his boots after Thalapathy 69.

However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet, and the fans are eagerly waiting for an announcement from the makers. Vetrimaaran, who is known for his realistic and hard-hitting films like Aadukalam, Visaaranai and Asuran, is currently busy with his production works for Viduthalai 2, which garnered much response at IFFR.

Viduthalai is a joint production of RS Infotainment, Grassroot Film Company and Red Giant Movies. The film has music by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja, cinematography by Velraj and editing by Ramar. Thunaivan, a short story by B. Jeyamohan, served as inspiration for the movie. Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with his 68th film, ‘GOAT’, directed by Venkat Prabhu which is being shot in Puducherry. The next film, Thlapathy 69  is said to be his last before he becomes a full-time politician.
