Kamal Hassan is a living legend of Indian cinema, a master storyteller, a visionary filmmaker, and a charismatic leader. But Kamal Haasan has another talent that he recently revealed to his fans on Instagram. He is also an avid photographer who loves to capture still life.
The veteran actor posted a picture of himself in photographer mode, looking like a pro. He captioned it, “Always moved by still life.” The picture has gone viral on social media, with over 1.5 lakh likes and thousands of comments from his admirers. They are amazed by his versatility and charm, and they are also eager to see him back in action as a director.
Haasan has directed some of the most innovative and experimental films in Indian cinema, such as Hey Ram, Anbe Sivam, Dasavatharam, and Uttama Villain. His last directorial venture was Vishwaroopam 2 in 2019. Since then, his fans have been waiting for him to wield the megaphone again.
“Kamal sir is a genius who can do anything. He is an inspiration for all of us. We hope he will direct more films in the future,” said one of his fans on Instagram. “Kamal sir is not just an actor or a director, he is an institution." said another fan.
The legendary star is currently working on highly anticipated project, Indian 2 which is a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian, directed by Shankar. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bobby Simha. He was last seen in Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which made a thunderous hit globally.
He is also reportedly working on a script for his next film with director Mahesh Narayanan, who helmed the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Take Off. The film will be produced by Haasan’s own banner Raaj Kamal Films International.
