In what made the recent development is Rajinikanth was spotted at the India vs Australia One Day International (ODI) match in Mumbai.

Sharing the pictures, the Mumbai Cricket Association took to Twitter and wrote, "Thalaiva in the house  The President of Mumbai Cricket Association, Mr. @Amolkk1976 in conversation with the Superstar @rajinikanth during the #INDvAUS game at the Wankhede  #MCA #Mumbai #Cricket #IndianCricket #Wankhede #BCCI"

The Mumbai Cricket Association President reportedly revealed that he extended the invitation to Rajinikanth himself, stating that it would be a tremendous honor if the actor visited the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Rajinikanth, accompanied by his wife Latha Rajinikanth, graciously accepted the invitation and landed in Mumbai for the match on 17th March.

The superstar was seen enjoying the match with Amol Kale, the President of the Mumbai Cricket Association. The photos of the two men enjoying the game have gone viral on social media. The pictures of Rajinikanth watching the game with Amol Kale, made fans awe to see their superstar indulging in a leisurely activity and having a good time.

However, this is not the only exciting news in the Thalaivar's world. Rajinikanth is currently working on his upcoming film, "Jailer," directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, in which he plays a prison guard. Post-production work on the film will begin as soon as 80 percent of the footage is shot. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the film, which promises to showcase Rajinikanth in a powerful and intense role.

In addition to Jailer, Rajinikanth has also been confirmed to have a cameo in Lal Salaam, a film directed by his daughter Aishwarya.
