The stars have aligned for the fans of Indian cinema, as two of the most iconic and legendary actors, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, have crossed paths after 21 years. The two superstars, who have ruled the silver screen for decades, were seen sharing a light-hearted moment while shooting for their respective films, Thalaivar 170 and Indian 2, in the same studio.

To the delight and surprise of their fans, the pictures of their reunion were shared by Lyca Productions by taking us to X, the production house behind both the films. The fans were in for a pleasant surprise, as they witnessed the rare sight of the two legends of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, smiling cheerfully and posing in black outfits for the camera. The pictures of their unexpected meeting sent the fans into a frenzy, as they celebrated the reunion of the two icons.

Thalaivar 170, directed by T.J. Gnanavel, is a highly anticipated film that features an ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rakshan, and G. M. Sundar. The film, which is expected to release in 2024, will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by S.R. Kathir, and editing by Philomin Raj.

Indian 2, directed by Shankar, is a sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, which starred Kamal Haasan in a dual role of a freedom fighter and his son. The sequel will see Kamal Haasan reprise his roles, along with Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Vivek. The film, which is also slated for a 2024 release, will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.

The fans of both the actors are eagerly waiting for the release of these films, which promise to be a treat for the eyes. The rare sight of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan together has also sparked hopes of a possible collaboration between the two legends in the future.
