Viral: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan becomes the first Hindi Film to Cross this milestone at Box Office

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has once again proved his mettle as the ultimate superstar with his latest release, Jawan. The high-octane thriller, directed by Atlee, has set the box office on fire and become the first Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema to cross the 1100 crore mark worldwide.

Jawan, which was released on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its gripping storyline, stunning action sequences and stellar performances. The film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as a RAW agent and a criminal mastermind, who are pitted against each other in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

According to the official statement from the production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan has grossed Rs 1103.27 crore globally as of Friday evening. The India gross box office collection stands at Rs 733.37 crore and the overseas box office collection is Rs 369.90 crore.

The film has also broken several records in various territories, such as the highest opening day, weekend and week collections in India, the highest opening day collection in Australia, the highest opening weekend collection in UAE and the highest opening week collection in UK.

Jawan is not only a huge success for Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee, but also for the entire Indian film industry, as it has showcased the potential of Indian cinema to the world. The film has also opened new avenues for collaboration between Bollywood and South Indian film industries, as it features several prominent actors from both the regions, such as Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff.
