Viral story: This 66-year-old former Indian cricketer is all set to marry a 38-year-old woman!

In a story that has turned heads, former Indian cricketer Arun Lal, who is 66 years old, is all set to marry a 38-year-old woman. The betrothed couple will be tieing the knot on May 2 and the arrangements are underway for the grand ceremony.

It will be Arun Lal's second marriage and he will be marrying his long-time friend Bul Bul Saha in Koltaka. The wedding invitation of the couple has been going viral and it has shown that the ceremony will be held at Peerless Inn, Esplanade, Kolkata on May 2 at 7 pm. Lal is the current coach of the Bengal Ranji cricket team and he was earlier married to his first wife Reena.

However, they had separated with mutual consent following which he has been in a relationship with Bul Bul Saha, who is 28 years younger than him. Saha has been working as a teacher and has been a long-time friend of Lal. The couple has got engaged last month and now, they have announced their wedding. The pics from their engagement were going viral and they have been in a rain of wishes from across the country.

Arun Lal has played for India, as a right-handed batsman, between 1982 to 1989. Born in 1955, Lal had moved to Kolkata and in 1979, he had established his cricket academy and following his retirement, he has been coaching the Bengal cricket team. Lal had also been a commentator and his columns about cricket analysis had regularly appeared in media.

Under Lal's coachmanship, Bengal had made it into the Ranji Trophy final in 2020 after a long gap of 13 years. He had played for India in 16 Test matches and 13 ODIs and he has been celebrated as the hero of Bengal's Ranji trophy victory in 1989-90. He was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma four years back and later, he got cured from the disease and went on to coach the domestic side.
