Viral story: Superstar Rajinikanth flies to Delhi...Here's why!

In what has become a story that has caught in the wave of virality, superstar Rajinikanth has flown to Delhi and as it has become a sudden development, it is now the talk of the town where social media are full of speculations about the reason behind his trip. 

According to reports, Rajinikanth left Chennai on Saturday- August 6 to Delhi to take part in the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Jailer' helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar. He flew to Delhi at 10 am from Chennai and it has been reported that he will be staying in the national capital territory for a week as the movie team has resumed the shooting. 

71-year-old Rajinikanth is now in the outing with Nelson Dilipkumar for the first time as he shelves the 169th movie of his illustrious career. Recently, Rajinikanth met Aalim Hakim who will be working with the superstar as his stylist in the movie. It has also been reported that the movie team is working to install sets in Hyderabad and the shooting will be held in Hyderabad after Delhi. 

Earlier, it was said that the shooting will take place in Chennai and in Karaikal. However, the legendary actor has now departed to Delhi to take part in the shooting. The visuals of the actor in the Chennai Airport have been going viral as he is back to business. While Nelson directs the movie, it is produced by Kalanithi Maran under his own banner 'Sun Pictures'.

While Rajinikanth plays the lead role, Shiva Rajkumar, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Mohan, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vasanth Ravi play important roles. Anirudh is composing the music and the movie's title poster was released earlier this year. Rajinikanth has previously acted in Siva-directorial 'Annaatthe' while Nelson has directed Vijay in the movie 'Beast'. Both the movies were produced by Sun Pictures and despite being a commercial hits, both the movies have witnessed setbacks.
