Viral story: Is Suriya going to sign his first Hindi film? Here's what we can expect!

One of the widely popular couples Suriya and Jyothika was swamped with paparazzi in Mumbai and the photos were storming the internet. The visuals have attracted a buzz that the national award-winning actor was in the city for his upcoming Hindi lead flick.  

The report has yet to be made official. Surya is all set to appear in a cameo part in the adaptation of his 'Soorarai Potru,' where his Tamil origin, earned him a National award. Faruk Kabir, whose Khuda Haafiz and Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 - Agni Pariksha were major blockbusters, is now penning a film script for South star, Suriya, which will make the actor break into Bollywood as his Hindi debut. 

According to Bollywood sources from last week, "Faruk Kabir, we hear, has collaborated with South superstar Suriya for a film written by him." Surya has surprisingly journeyed to Mumbai with his wife, actress Jyotika, under this scenario. This video of his outing with his family began to go viral across social media. Suriya is rumoured to be headed to Mumbai to discuss his new Hindi film.

The actor will also make his debut as a producer with his firm 2D entertainment productions, which is working on a Bollywood adaptation of the National Award-winning film Soorarai Pottru starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. On the professional front, his forthcoming film Vaadivaasal is based on Tamil Nadu's traditional bull-taming sport, Jallikattu. He'll also appear in filmmaker Bala's film Vanangaan. Krithi Shetty, well-known for her role in Uppena, appears as a female lead.
