Viral story: Why Vijay's 'Varisu' shooting was stopped suddenly and when it will resume?

Vijay is currently in the outing with Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally for the movie 'Varisu', which is in its final phase of the making. The shooting of the movie commenced earlier this year and it was being held at a regular pace as per the schedule. The shooting was happening in Hyderabad and for the first time, the filming was suddenly stopped. 

The development shocked Vijay fans and it came to light that the shooting was stopped suddenly due to the director's health discomfort. According to reports, Vamshi Paidipally fell ill due to exhaustion after which the current phase of filming has been halted. It has been reported that Paidipally was working incessantly day and night for the movie for several weeks.

The doctors have advised him to take complete rest for a week which has suggested that the shooting will resume after a week. It is the first time that Vijay is working with a Tollywood director and the movie is being made family drama film. Varisu is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and it has an ensemble cast.

While Vijay plays the lead role, Rashmika Mandanna will play the female lead and the movie has roped in Sarathkumar, Shaam, Ganesh Venkataraman, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, and Khushbu to play important roles. The music is composed by Thaman and Varisu will be getting released in the theatres in Pongal 2023.
