Deepika Padukone, the reigning queen of Bollywood, is all set to make her Telugu debut with Project K, a fantasy sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin. The film, which also stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles, has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced.

On Monday, the makers of Project K took to Twitter and unveiled the first look of Deepika Padukone from the film and it has left everyone spellbound. The poster shows Deepika in a sepia-toned look, with her hair flowing in the wind and her eyes gazing at something in the distance.

She is wearing a shawl around her shoulders and has a fierce expression on her face. The caption reads, “In her eyes she carries the hope of a new world”. The first glimpse of Project K will be out on July 20 (USA) and July 21 (India).

Deepika Padukone’s first look from Project K has ignited curiosity among the fans who are eager to know more about her character and the film’s plot. However, not everyone is happy with Deepika Padukone’s first look from Project K. Some netizens have expressed their disappointment over the poster, saying that it was just a passport-size photo and not a full-fledged look. Fans also questioned why the poster was delayed by five hours.

The film is said to be a futuristic drama that will showcase Prabhas in a never-seen-before avatar. The film also marks the first collaboration between Deepika and Prabhas, who are two of the most popular actors in the country. Project K is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The film is expected to hit the theatres in early January 2024 .The film will also feature Kamal Haasan in a special role 2.

The film will be launched officially at the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 where the title and trailer are to be launched in the presence of Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas. This is the first time that an Indian film has gone to the San Diego Comic-Con, which is a big achievement for the Indian film industry.
