Thalapathy Vijay has embarked on an international journey, jetting off to Bangkok for the next leg of shooting for his upcoming film, 'Thalapathy 68' with Venkat Prabhu. The news of his overseas shoot schedule has sent waves of excitement through his fan base, and a recent video capturing his departure has gone viral on social media.

The filming for 'Thalapathy 68' commenced last month, and two song sequences have already been successfully captured by the enthusiastic team. Following this initial schedule, the crew decided to take a short break before gearing up for the international stint in Bangkok.

Reports suggest that this Bangkok schedule is expected to last for 15 days and will primarily focus on action sequences. After this, the production will shift to the Prasad Lab in Chennai, where an impressive set is being erected.

Thalapathy Vijay's departure from Chennai for the shoot in Bangkok has sparked widespread attention, with pictures of the actor at the airport circulating on the internet. 'Thalapathy 68' is being produced by AGS Entertainment, marking the production house's 25th film and their second collaboration with him, following their successful venture 'Bigil' in 2019.

The star-studded cast of 'Thalapathy 68' features Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chowdhury, Ajmal, Mic Mohan, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premji, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj. The film's music will be composed by the acclaimed Yuvan Shankar Raja, marking his seventh collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu.

The film was  announced earlier this year by AGS Entertainment where they expressed their enthusiasm for this significant collaboration in a statement, saying, "It is our pride and privilege to collaborate again with #Thalapathy @actorvijay Sir for our 25th Film."

Siddharth Nuni will be responsible for cinematography, while the editing duties fall under the purview of Venkat Raajen. The choreography of the action sequences will be expertly handled by Dileep Subbarrayan. Notably, 'Thalapathy 68' will introduce SJ Suryah as the primary antagonist. SJ Suryah is no stranger to working alongside Thalapathy Vijay, having previously shared screen space with him in 'Mersal' and directing him in 'Kushi.'
