'The wait is over, we are coming': Actor Suriya shares a big update of 'Soorarai Pottru'! Watch...

Two days after putting his fans under shock after revealing the unanticipated defer in the release of his next movie 'Soorarai Pottru', actor Suriya has now shared a big update about the trailer of the movie as the actor excitingly said that the wait is over and they are coming to you very soon. 

Soorarai Pottru would be one of the remarkable movies of Suriya in his acting career and after coming through the chapters of challenges and restrictions, the movie was finally over and it was earlier announced that the movie would be getting released directly on Amazon Prime Video on October 30 and since the announcement was made, the fans had gone excited and the movie team had also been waiting for the reception, as it would the first big release in the Tamil Cinema directly on the OTT platform. 

However, exactly before eight days of the release, on October 22, Suriya issued an official statement that the movie won't be released on October 30, leaving his fans to keep their wait for longer. In his statement, the actor said, "As you all know SP (Soorarai Pottru) is a story set in the aviation industry. So we had to deal with numerous procedures and permissions because it's a matter of national security and we were dealing with real Indian Airforce aircraft and security. A few new NOCs are still pending for approval, and we understand the wait is inevitable as this adverse time is demanding more and more focus on the nation and its priorities, than anything else". 

Suriya further stated "Soorarai Pottru is a film very close to our hearts and we feel very passionately for this compelling and inspiring story. Unfortunately, the wait for the film's release will now be a little longer than anticipated. However, what pains me is how eagerly my well-wishers were waiting for this but we seem to have no other option. I personally hope that my well-wishers will take this in good spirit, with love and faith". Besides sharing his statement on social media, he also shared a sneak-peak of 'Aagamsam' song, and the sneak-peak revealed that the trailer of the movie will be out soon. 

As the fans were waiting with more expectations, Suriya has, on Saturday, shared a big update about the trailer and revealed that the trailer of 'Soorarai Pottru' will be released on October 26 at 10 am. Suriya took to social media and shared this big update and he also has released a short video clip in which he can be seen making a paper airplane as he revealed the information. In the video, he said, "Hello all. How have you been? I know a lot of you have been waiting for this for a very long time. You all have been very patient and super supportive while we are getting ready to take-off".

He stated "As a team, all we can say is a big thank you and we also truly believe we can entertain you and also inspire you with the story. Yes, very happy to inform the trailer of Soorarai Pottru will be releasing on Monday 26th October on Amazon Prime Video India. Yeah, so fasten your seat belts and get ready. We are coming". 

In what has become a surprise announcement, his video has been getting rampantly shared across social media as the fans are expressing their desire to watch the trailer and movie, which according to multiple reports, would be getting released on Diwali as Suriya's festive gift to his fans. 

Produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga, Soorarai Pottru is directed by 'Iruthi Suttru' fame Sudha Kongara while GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music. Filmed the real-life story of Captain Gopinath, the founder of India's low-cost airline 'Air Deccan', the movie has roped in some of the reputed faces like Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Karunas, Kaali Venkat, and Vivek Prasanna.
