Wild Adventurer Bear Grylls has been exploring the deep forests in India and he is also making his behind the woods tours memorable by taking the national popular faces with him to their completely unpopular grounds of never-witnessed and dangerous experiences in the wild. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Superstar Rajinikanth were two popular faces that shared the adventure with Bear Grylls in the Indian forests.

Following Narendra Modi and Rajinikanth, Bear Grylls is going to get into the woods with Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar as the latter will be the former's guest into the wild in his next episode of 'Into the Wild'. On Thursday, both the host and the visitor took to social media and shared the first digital premiere of the show. The episode of Bollywood megastar meeting the wild was shot at Mysore's Bandipur Tiger Reserve, where Rajinikanth adventured with the English wild man.

According to the reports, the episode will be premiering on Discovery Plus App on September 11 at 8 pm and the TV premiere will be on Discovery Channel on September 14. Taking to social media, Akshay Kumar said, "You thinking I mad… but mad only going into the wild".

In January 2020, Akshay Kumar came to Mysore for the shoot of 'Into the Wild with Bear Grylls' in Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Discovery Channel has secured consent from the Karnataka government for shooting the episode in the forest between January 28 and January 30. The Bollywood star had completed a six-hour schedule on a one day tour of Bandipur Tiger Reserve.

Before Akshay Kumar, Superstar Rajinikanth was featured in the adventurous show, which had become his debut show on TV, the episode with the superstar was also shot in the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. The tiger reserve is a home for 28 species of mammals like Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, barking deer, leopard, Indian pipistrelle, and macaques.

The Tiger Reserve was established in 1941 and is an 874 square kilometer national part that sits 220 kilometers southwest of the state's capital Bangalore. In 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had featured in the episode with Bear Grylls and they toured Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. Titled 'Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls and PM Modi', the episode has become one of the most-watched shows of 2019 in India. Describing his tour with Akshay Kumar, Bear Grylls said, "Life is an adventure that is best lived boldly, and there are few better (madder) adventure buddies than the legendary @akshaykumar".
