For every success, there lies a painful journey behind it. Beyond the ardent fans of Simbu, everyone had loved his physical transformation and his comeback through the blockbuster hit 'Maanaadu'. The actor was not in the spotlight until he unleashed an atman in him, which amazed and inspired many across and beyond the borders.

Everyone would have probably been astonished about his physical transformation and for the first time, Simbu has released the video of his painful yet inspiring journey behind his transformation and the birth of Atman. Simbu was weighing 105 kilograms at the time of the release of his movies 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and 'AAA'. However, when at the time of the release of the movie Eeswaran, the actor has lost 30 kgs and stood at 72 kilograms, which was indeed a WOW transformation. 

Post his transformation, he has said in many interviews that he will be releasing a video on his journey which has included a natural walk, dance, sport, and relentless physical exercise. As he announced, he had shared the video on Thursday -February 3, on the occasion of his 39th birthday in which he can be seen evolving to a new avatar. The video, which also suggests that the actor has made better use of the lockdown, has been going viral. 

Simbu has shared the video on Twitter and wrote, "Hope this journey of mine inspires countless more...God bless." The video runs for 13 minutes and it has been rampantly spread. By the time of writing this content, the video has garnered over 1.4 million views within a day and the reach has implied the wait to see the phenomenal transformation of the actor. 

On the work front, Simbu was finally seen in Maanaadu that was helmed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie has opened the gate for Simbu for a stable market and after the success of Maanaadu, Simbu has been currently working on two projects - Vendhu Thaninthadhu Kaadu and Pathu Thala. Vendhu Thaninthadhu Kaadu is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

While Simbu plays the lead role, Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddiqui, and Neeraj Madhav play important roles. AR Rahman is composing the music and the movie is bankrolled by Ishari Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International. On the other hand, the makers of Pathu Thala had unveiled the glimpse video on Thursday, on the occasion of Simbu's birthday.
