The superstar of Tamil cinema, Rajinikanth, is back in action with his 170th film, which is being shot in various locations in south India. The film, which is yet to be titled, has created a lot of buzz among the fans and the media, as it features a stellar star cast and a promising director.

One of the highlights of the film is that it marks the reunion of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, the two legends of Indian cinema, after 32 years. The last time they shared screen space was in the 1991 film Hum, which was a blockbuster hit. The fans are eagerly waiting to see the chemistry and charisma of the two icons on the big screen again.

The shooting of the film started in Thiruvananthapuram, where some scenes involving Rajinikanth were shot. The second phase of shooting started in Tirunelveli, where Rajinikanth received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from his fans.

The actor revealed that he had visited Tirunelveli after 46 years, and recalled his memories of shooting for his 1977 film Bhuvana Oru Kelvikkuri there. He thanked his fans for their love and support, and said that he was happy to be back in Nellai.

Another interesting aspect of the film is that Rajinikanth is playing a young police officer, which is anticipating factor for his fans. The actor, who is 73 years old, has undergone a sincere makeover to look younger and fit for the role. 

The film is being directed by TJ Gnanavel, who is known for his critically acclaimed film Jai Bhim, which dealt with the issue of caste discrimination and human rights. The film is produced by Lyca Productions, which has bankrolled some of the biggest films in Tamil cinema, which also banking up Superstar's Lal Salaam.

The film also boasts of a talented ensemble of actors, such as Fahad Fazil, Tushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh and many others. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who is one of the most popular and versatile composers in the industry.
