Watch: When MS Dhoni and Indian players fulfill the wish of Scotland captain...Video goes viral!

Virat Kohli's fleet has on Friday displayed a comeback, and though the victory was against the non-hardcore cricket nation of Scotland, it was much needed for India to stay in the race and the all-round performance on Friday's match had given a big boost to Men In Blue to chase the berth in the semi-finals. India only has one match left in the league against Namibia and after defeating Scotland, the Indian players had a significant reunion with the Scottish players.

The event where the Indian players fulfilled the wish of Scottish skipper Kyle Coetzer has become the talk of the country and the visuals from the meet had gone viral. Coetzer had earlier wished that he would like to meet Indian players in their dressing room to talk to some of the best in the game. He said that such meet would help the Scottish players move forward and develop the sport in their country and help improve the current squad.

As he wished, the Indian players had invited the Scotland players to their dressing room after the completion of Friday's match, which was hosted by Dubai. The Indian contingent included team's mentor MS Dhoni, skipper Virat Kohli, players Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and R Ashwin had spent time with the Scottish players after the match. Earlier, Coetzer said, "They are excellent ambassadors of the game. We want our guys to speak to them, be it Kohli or Williamson or Rashid Khan."

"That's the only and best way to learn. We used to be able to do it in the pubs before, but now we can't", Coetzer added. The reunion was fruitful and friendly and Scotland Cricket took to social media and described the meet. It wrote, "Huge respect to Virat Kohli and co for taking the time." The Scotland Cricket had also shared the pics of the meeting and Coetzer has said that standing next to Kohli would be a special moment as he is a role model for the game.

He said, "Standing next to Virat at the toss will be a special occasion for anyone, not just for me. He is an idol of the game." Sharing the visual of the meet on social media, BCCI wrote, "#SpiritOfCricket was at its best as Scotland expressed their wish to visit the #TeamIndia dressing room & our boys made them feel at home." Friday's match and points were crucial for India and Kohli's fleet had put in an all-round show and defeated Scotland by eight wickets.

Scotland bat first and the Indian bowlers Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami had restricted Scotland to a very low score. Jadeja and Shami took three wickets each and India had bowled out Scotland for 85 runs and in reply, India had chased the score in 6.3 overs and won the game by losing two wickets. With the victory, India has recorded the second consecutive victory and stands at third place in Group 2.

The countries with the top two places from each group would get qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing T20 World Cup. India has a high chance of entering the semi-finals - if the Men in Blue win the match against Namibia and if Afghanistan beat New Zealand in what would become a game-changing match. India will be taking on Namibia on November 8, Monday.
