Superstar Rajinikanth has been making headlines recently with his public appearances and upcoming film projects. The legendary actor was recently spotted watching the India-Australia ODI match in Mumbai with and Amol Kale, the President of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). Pictures of the actor enjoying the match went viral on social media.

But that's not all. Fans were once again treated to yet another exciting moment on Saturday, as Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav had a fanboy moment when he met Rajinikanth in person. He took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures of his meeting with the Thalaivar on Instagram, captioning it "One sun, one moon, one Thalaivar" in Tamil. Along with him, Washington Sundar met the Thalaivar in Mumbai before flying to Vizag for Sunday's second match on Match 19th.

Fans of both the cricket star and Rajinikanth were thrilled to see the two icons come together. In the pictures, Kuldeep can be seen happily posing with Rajinikanth, who looks dapper in traditional attire. The meeting between the two stars has created a buzz on social media, with fans eagerly waiting to know more about it. 

Yadav made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2017, and since then, he has represented India in all three formats of the game - Test, ODI, and T20I. Yadav has also played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, and he is currently playing in the ODI match between India and Australia.

On the workfront, the Superstar is currently shooting for his upcoming film "Jailer" directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar. The movie is said to be an action-packed drama and Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of sincere prison guard. The shooting of the film is currently going on in full swing and fans are excited to see the superstar back on the big screen.

Apart from "Jailer", Rajinikanth also has an upcoming brief role in "Lal Salaam" , which is being directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Moreover, Rajinikanth has also signed an untitled movie with director TJ Gnanavel of "Jai Bhim" fame.
