As Lokesh Kanagaraj is building his universe for his upcoming project with Vijay, it seems like the project tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 67' has been giving immediate head turners for the fans if there is a development around it. Likewise, they have now heard an update from the director himself as he opened up for the first time about the project before the cameras.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has spilled the beans about when the official movie update will be made. He has revealed that the official update will be dropped in one or two months and a video of him making the statement is currently firing on social media. Vijay is currently shooting for Varisu in Tamil and Telugu and it is helmed by Vamsi Padipally while Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead.
When Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's blockbuster film Master became a success, Vijay claimed he would collaborate with Lokesh Kangaraj once again. According to industry insiders, Vijay's Thalapathy 67 with Lokesh Kanagaraj will start its production at the end of 2022. It has been reported that Lalit Kumar will be producing the project under his banner Seven Screen Studios.
No official information has been released regarding Thalapathy 67 due to which the latest statement from the director has been going viral among the fans. On September 15, director Lokesh Kanagaraj participated in an event in Chennai and reportedly discussed his forthcoming film, "Thalapathy 67." The director stated during the meeting that the producers will update the movie in one to two months.
He also said that he would withhold any information about the movie as he awaits the production company's official update. Therefore, he asked the fans to hold off for some more weeks. If everything goes as well, a formal update on Thalapathy 67 could be released in November or December.
