Well-known Bollywood director Abhinav Kashyap has torched the fire against one of the industry's powerful scions - The Khan family.

Abhinav Kashyap is the younger brother of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. He directed Dabangg in 2010 in which Salman Khan played the lead role. He has now directly targeted Salman Khan's family by accusing them of sabotaging his career. In the long Facebook post, the younger Kashyap had appealed to the Maharashtra government to launch a detailed investigation on the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.

By comparing it with the #MeToo movement, Abhinav alleged that a 'bigger malaise' in Bollywood was behind his death and he further stated that his untimely demise is just the tip of the iceberg. He directly blamed Salman Khan, his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz Khan, and their father Salim Khan for bullying him and sabotaging his career. According to Abhinav Kashyap, the Khans sabotaged two of his independent projects- one was with Shree Ashtavinayak films and the other was with Viacom Pictures.

By mentioning the Khan family as his enemy, Kashyap said that he won't give up like Sushant Singh Rajput and he has all the proof. He further stated that "Enough tolerance. Its time to fight back. So this is not a threat, it’s an open challenge. Sushant Singh Rajput has moved on and I hope he is happier wherever he is but I will make sure that no more innocent will kill himself over lack of work with dignity in Bollywood". Abhinav urged the actors to share his post as much as they can.

While the industry is crippled in the wake of the Coronavirus and lockdown, it was ought to witness the back to back departures of some of the phenomenal actors - Irrfan Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput and the suicide of Rajput had ignited a storm among his followers as social media appears dark with discussions about the star's death.
