The students in the state of Tamilnadu are still staying with their hope to avail cash free coaching classes for NEET examination for next year as the state government is yet to signal the commencement of classes that will be hosted by the state government schools.

The current academic year has almost sent off its first quarter in the year and its been already three months since the recent NEET exams have concluded and still the students of the state have left with unfortunate clouds as the state education department hasn't accounted for taking concrete actions to flag free coaching classes for NEET in the government schools for the current year, which the government launched across the state in 2017.

It has been reported that most of the students in the districts of Chennai, Erode and Coimbatore have been conducted with the orientation programme, as the first step prior of commencing the classes, which is yet to be commenced as the authorities of school education department has been waiting for go ahead signal from the state minister K A Sengottaiyan, who is responsible for the school education platforms. The state government authorities have recently notified that the training sessions have been scheduled for about 320 government school teachers who will be flagging free NEET coaching classes in prescribed schools in the state after wrapping up their training workshops.

For the academic year of 2018-19, the state government authorities have picked about 2,597 students from the state who had undergone the rounds of training sessions before appearing for their NEET exam where those students had provided with essential books, materials and free laptops to ensure that they have been equipped to go through the NEET exam, which the Central government had launched across the country as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test to filter and to segregate the students on their admissions in medical colleges to pursue their medical studies. Of those 2,597 students who were giving special training for NEET, about 642 students had successfully cleared their examinations to pass the barricade towards their hope for medical studies.

The reliable reports say that the state of Tamilnadu had accounted for 17,630 students from government and government aided schools in Tamilnadu who had appeared for NEET examination for 2019 and the reports further stated that with the target of next year's NEET, nearly fifty students have been selected and enrolled from each center across the state after the list has been finalized through the selection process that was held in the month of August 2019. After being selected, these students will be undergoing free NEET coaching by the state government in the government schools for every weekends where the selected best performers for this batch will be put up with the special training session to ensure that they are academically fit to face NEET exams in 2020.
