"Witness Vettaiyan Raja"... Makers of Chandramukhi 2 drop the first look of Raghava Lawrence!

The wait is over for the fans of Raghava Lawrence, who is all set to spook the audience as the menacing Vettaiyan Raja in Chandramukhi 2. The makers of the much-awaited sequel to the 2006 blockbuster Chandramukhi have unveiled the first look poster of the actor, who is stepping into the shoes of Rajinikanth’s iconic role.

Lyca Productions took to Twitter on Monday and wrote, "Back with double the swag and attitude!  Witness Vettaiyan Raja's intimidating presence in @offl_Lawrence 's powerful first look from Chandramukhi-2  Releasing this GANESH CHATURTHI in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada!  #Chandramukhi2   #PVasu".

The poster shows Raghava in a royal attire, walking down the steps of a huge palace, with a devious look on his face. The film, directed by P Vasu, also stars Kangana Ranaut as a dancer in the king’s court, who is known for her beauty and dance skills.

Chandramukhi 2 is slated to release on Ganesh Chaturthi this year, that is, September 19, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The film has been produced by Lyca Productions and has music by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani. The film recently wrapped up its shooting after filming extensively in various locations. The film is expected to be a visual treat for the fans of horror and thriller genres.

The first look poster of Raghava Lawrence has created a buzz on social media, with fans expressing their excitement and curiosity about the film. Some fans also compared Raghava’s look with Rajinikanth’s and praised his courage to take up such a challenging role. The film is a standalone sequel to Chandramukhi, which was itself a remake of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu.
