The world's dirtiest man, who didn't bathe for 50 years, passes away at 94!

Amou Haji, who is known as the world's dirtiest man, has passed away in Iran at the age of 94.

Haji lived a strange life that caught him more attention and he earned the tag as the world's dirtiest man after it came to revelation that he didn't bathe for 50 years. You read it right, he was living solitarily and was obsessed with a fear against bathing. 

The Iran state media has reported the death of Amou Haji. He was living in Dejgah village in the southern province of Fars and it has been reported that he died of natural causes.

Haji didn't bathe due to the fear of contracting infections and recently, the villagers took him to a bathroom and washed him a few months ago, for the first time in five decades. 

A local official said that Haji had avoided showering over fears of getting sick. Haji had featured in a short documentary, titled 'The Strange life of Amou Haji' in 2013.
