"Your place is in Politics and you should stay there...” says the actor-composer to Udhayanidhi Stalin at Mamannan audio launch!

The audio launch of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘Maamannan’ was a star-studded affair with the presence of  Kamal Haasan, Sivakarthikeyan, Soori and many others. The film, directed by Mari Selvaraj and composed by AR Rahman, is said to be the last film of Udhayanidhi Stalin as an actor. The actor-producer-politician announced that he will be quitting acting for now and concentrate on his political career.

Among the guests who spoke at the event, Vijay Antony’s speech caught everyone’s attention. The actor-musician said that he was happy to bid farewell to Udhayanidhi Stalin’s last film and asked him to stay in politics. He said, “Everybody insists Udhayanidhi Stalin not to leave the film industry. But I am wishing and giving a happy farewell to his last film. You’re really an emperor. Your place is in Politics and you should stay there.”

Vijay Antony also praised Mari Selvaraj for his bold and realistic filmmaking and AR Rahman for his soulful music. He said that he was looking forward to watching the film on the big screen. ‘Maamannan’ also stars Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on June 29, coinciding with Bakrid.

The trailer of the film will be released soon by the team. The film is expected to be a political drama with a social message. Udhayanidhi Stalin plays a dual role in the film, one of them being a politician. The film is produced by Red Giant Movies, which is owned by Udhayanidhi Stalin himself.

The audio launch of ‘Maamannan’ was a grand celebration of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s acting journey and a warm welcome to his political aspirations. Vijay Antony’s speech was a highlight of the event and a gesture of respect and friendship towards Udhayanidhi Stalin.
