Simbu to marry a Srilankan girl? Here's the statement from the actor's family

Rumors about Indian actor Simbu's marriage have been circulating on social media for the past few days, with several fake statements claiming that he will be tying the knot with a Sri Lankan girl. However, the actor's family has now released an official statement addressing these rumours and clarifying the situation.

The actor's family has taken the time to address the rumours and put an end to the speculation surrounding his personal life. The statement reads,  "We strongly deny the news of SilambarasanTR getting engaged to a Sri Lankan Tamil Girl as mentioned by few media channels. There is no truth behind it. We request our media friends to do confirm things as personal topic as "Marriage" with us. If and when there is a good news regards marriage, our media friends will be the first to be called for and conveyed on the same. Thank you. Hariharan Gajendran 'Media Manager' Office of Silambarasan TR".

Simbu, who was last seen in the film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, is currently anticipating the release of his next film, Pathu Thala. While Simbu has certainly been praised for his prowess, he often fall for the subject of controversy. His rumoured marriage and other romantic involvements have been the feature of periodic media coverage. It's safe to say that the actor's statement has now put the matter to rest.

Pathu Thala is a gangster drama starring Silambarasan TR aka Simbu and is a remake of the Kannada film Mufti. Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Teejay, and Kalaiyarasan among others in pivotal roles. AR Rahman composed the musical score for this movie which is bankrolled by Studio Green and Pen Studios. The film is scheduled to release on 30th March 2023.

Praveen KL is handling the editing and Farook Basha is taking care of the cinematography. Obeli N Krishna, lastly helmed Nedunjalai in 2014. He is also fame for directing Siliunu Oru Kadhal', and Hippi was his his last Telugu venture on 2019. Interestingly, following his success with Vallavan, the actor has also revealed recently that he will soon begin filming his second directorial effort.
