STR48 is the second directorial venture of Desingh Periasamy, who made a successful debut with the romantic thriller Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma.

The film has already created a lot of excitement among the fans as it will feature Simbu in a dual role of both the hero and the villain.

The film is expected to be a grand spectacle with a rich historical backdrop and a gripping storyline.

The film is also expected to have a cameo appearance by Kamal Haasan himself, which will be a treat for the audience. 

The film’s music is composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, who has delivered a soulful and catchy soundtrack that complements the film’s mood and tone.

The makers are yet to reveal the names of the actresses, but sources say that they are in talks with some of the top names in the industry.

He also has ‘KH234’, a film that reunites him with Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after 35 years since ‘Nayakan’.

The poster also had the tagline ‘Blood and Battle’, hinting at the genre and theme of the film.
