STR48 Buzz: Simbu starrer join forces with this big prowess composer! Here's what we know

The Tinseltown had already gone over the moon with the news of a mega project that would bring together two of the most celebrated stars of the silver screen. Simbu, the versatile actor who has won the hearts of millions with his charismatic performances, is teaming up with none other than the legendary Kamal Haasan, who will produce the film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International.

The film, tentatively titled ‘STR 48’, is said to be a historical drama that will showcase Simbu in a never-before-seen avatar. The actor will play dual roles as the hero and the villain, pitting himself against himself in a clash of epic proportions.

The film will be directed by Desingh Periyasamy, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed and commercially successful ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’. But that’s not all. The film has also roped in a sensational music composer who has created waves in the Indian music scene with his rock'ing tunes.

Ravi Basrur, the man behind the blockbuster ‘KGF’ franchise, will compose the music for ‘STR 48’. The composer is known for his electrifying background scores and catchy songs that elevate the mood and intensity of the scenes.

The film is expected to go on floors in November this year and will feature leading Bollywood actresses as the female leads. The makers are yet to reveal the names of the actresses, but sources say that they are in talks with some of the top names in the industry. The film will be shot in various locations across India and abroad, and will have a grand scale and production value.

‘STR 48’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and fans are eagerly waiting for more updates from the team. The film promises to be a visual treat and a musical extravaganza, with two of the finest talents of Tamil cinema joining hands for the first time.
