Bollywood celebrates 'Natchathiram Nagargiradhu'...This famous director speaks highly of Pa Ranjith!

Kollywood filmmaker Pa Ranjith made Bollywood awestruck with his upcoming movie 'Natchathiram Nagargiradhu's premiere in Mumbai. Addressing the occasion, famous director Anurag Kashyap has spoken highly of Pa Ranjith and the pictures of the duo exchanging hugs have caught into the wave of virality. The movie has been slated for a theatrical release on August 31.

Two days ahead of the movie's release, Ranjith screened for celebrities in Mumbai and the forum was filled with icons of Bollywood town including Anurag Kashyap and Nandita Das. Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is Ranjith's sixth venture, barring his directorial in a Tamil anthology 'Victim', and his next project is going to clash with Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra'.

Ranjith is widely known for directing Superstar Rajinikanth two consecutive times and his movies are known for being hard-hitting themes and bold narratives on societal dramas. Through his uncompromised filmmaking, Ranjith has impressed his fans with his bold attempt of voicing out for the oppressed communities. 

After several Bollywood stars enjoyed Natchathiram Nagargiradhu at the screening, Pa Ranjith has surfaced with more praises. Director Anurag Kashyap has spoken highly of Ranjith. The former was moved by the story and hugged the latter after the screening. Filmmaker Ashwini Chaudhary has said that Natchathiram Nagargiradhu was an impactful movie. He tweeted, "I love the man (Ranjith) and his films. No other film in recent times hit me in the same way Natchathiram Nagargiradhu did. Take a bow." 

The trailer of Natchathiram Nagargiradhu displayed that the film would be a romantic comedy, which revolves around LGBTQ relationships. While sharing the posters of the movie, Ranjith tweeted "Love is political." Kalidas Jayaram, Kalaiyarasan, Dushara Vijayan, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Charles Vinoth, Manisa Tait, and Lizzie Antony play important roles. Tenma has composed the music and it is produced by Yaazhi Films and Neelam Productions.
