Chennai likely to host consistent downpour!

As most of the parts in the state of Tamil Nadu have been experiencing heavy rainfall for the past few days where the state's remote and isolated areas are showering with downpour, the Indian Meteorological Department had predicted that the city of Chennai will likely to water with rainfall for the next twenty four hours.

The reports say that the city has been witnessing steady pattern of rainfall since Tuesday night that was due to low pressure formation in Bay of Bengal and in the view of that, the meteorological department has notified its forecast in which light to moderate rainfall will continue to shower the city of Chennai. The reports had stated that the regional meteorological department in Chennai had recorded with 41.4mm of rainfall while Meenambakkam had received 55.6mm downpour.

The weather experts had cited that the city will encounter short and steady spells of rainfall in regular intervals throughout the day along with the earlier trend of late night and early morning rainfall. While the authorities have predicted that the current weather stream will most likely move towards the coast of Lakshadweep, they had further indicated that the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu including Chennai will receive week long light and dry spells from November 3rd, 2019.

A Yellow warning of rainfall has been issued to Tamil Nadu in the view of heavy rainfalls in the state's isolated parts and the districts like Virudhunagar, Theni, Vellore, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Ramanathapuram have declared holiday for the schools and colleges today after it has been predicted with the possibilities of light to moderate rainfall.
