Dhanush comes as a passionate teacher in a corrupt educational system: 'Vaathi' teaser is out!

As announced earlier, the much-awaited teaser of Dhanush's next 'Vaathi' has been dropped on Thursday- July 28 on the occasion of the actor's 39th birthday. The one-minute-long teaser video is now going viral on social media. It teasingly says, "Classes start soon", as Dhanush will be playing the titular role, 'Sir' in Telugu and 'Vaathi' in Tamil - the actor's first bilingual film. 

The actor tweeted the teaser, and wrote, "Here is the teaser of my first bilingual film #Vaathi #sir .." The teaser has the Dhanush as a passionate and sprinting actional teacher bearing the name, 'Balagangathar Tilak', with chalk, books, and some good advice on the current educational system, spoiled by bad businessmen. The teaser has been made with some sharp annotations like, "Education is more than about books, marks and results. The right mix of chalk and challenges can shape the future generation". 

'Vaathi', written & directed by Venky Atluri. While GV Prakash Kumar had done the scoring music, the cinematography is handled by J Yuvraj. Sithara Entertainments headed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi will be co-producing this film along with Ms Sai Soujanya's Fortune Four Cinemas. The film is Presented by Srikara Studios and it has brought in an ensemble cast. 

While Dhanush plays the lead role, Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, and Hareesh Peradi played important roles. On Wednesday, the movie team has unveiled the first-look posters of Vaathi and now the teaser has been unveiled as a birthday treat for the Dhanush fans.
