The film, directed by the talented Arun Matheswaran, promises to be a thrilling ride of rebellion and revolution against the British Raj.

Rashmika will be playing the female lead opposite Dhanush and will be seen in a different avatar.

Shekhar Kammula is a critically acclaimed director who has made some of the most feel good films in Telugu such as Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, Leader, Fidaa, and Love Story.

He also has a pan-Indian film with Tollywood director Sekhar Kammula and a Hindi film with Aanand L Rai titled Tere Ishk Mein.

The film will be made in collaboration with Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. 

He has won four National Film Awards, two as an actor and two as a producer, and numerous other accolades for his work.
