Dhanush joins with this Telugu filmmaker for the first time and its Trilingual: Here're the deets on his next venture!

Dhanush, who has a slew of films in the pipeline, has kickstarted his upcoming flick with director Sekhar Kammula. Not yet titled, the film is tipped to be a political action film and the shooting went on the floor with a customary pooja, where the film crew and actor Dhanush were featured in the ceremony pictures, which are currently been viral on social media.

Director Sekhar Kammula was known for his directorial Fidaa, Love Story, and Nayanthara starrer Anaamika. Dhanush's first bilingual and Telugu debut Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) is due out soon, and it's versed that he will be next collaborating with Sekhar Kammula, his second Telugu project. 

A prominent film critic tweeted the news along with photos from the pooja ceremony, adding, "DHANUSH TO STAR IN TAMIL - TELUGU - HINDI TRILINGUAL FILM… #NationalAward winners #Dhanush and director #SekharKammula team up for the first time... The film - not titled yet - will be shot simultaneously in #Tamil, #Telugu and #Hindi... Launched today with a pooja ceremony." 

The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, and the announcement was made on Monday. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP's Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, along with Amigos Creations, will be the film's producers. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, also posted a few photos and wrote. "The Remarkable Moment is here for the Path Breaking Combo Superstar @dhanushkraja  Director @sekharkammula  TRILINGUAL FILM Launched today on a Grand Note with a pooja ceremony FILMING BEGINS SOON". 

This year was such a triumphant round for the actor, as he witnessed great reception for his Hollywood debut The Gray man, Thiruchitrambalam, and Naane Varuvean. And for 2023, he is anticipating the release of Vaathi by Venky Atluri and Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller, which the story set in 1930s India that is being billed as an action-adventure. Besides Dhanush, Sundeep, Kishan, and John Kokken star in crucial roles. The movie will most likely premiere in theatres in the second half of 2023.
