Much relished and awaited, Dhanush's "Vaathi" finally hit theatres today on February 17th Friday along with the Telugu version titled 'Sir'. As fans flock to theatres to gush over their favourite actors, positive early reviews of the film have begun to swamp social media. Dhanush and director Venky Atluri have collaborated for the first time as this film is the actor'sfirst Telugu entry. The film's brilliant soundtracks were composed by GV Prakash Kumar were hugely getting good reception in theatres.

Reportedly, the FDFS for the film began at 8 AM IST. With what each cinephile writes after absolutely loving the film, Vaathi is receiving positive word-of-mouth from both Tamil and Telugu theatregoers. One wrote, "Beautiful message about the importance of Education Dhanush action, story, Direction , screenplay, Gv prakash BGM - All super " Interestingly, the versatile actor for the first time clashing with his brother and director come actor's Bakasuran directed by Mohan G.

Popular film tracker and critic took us to Twitter and penned a decent review note on the family entertainer, he wrote, "#Vaathi [3.25/5] : A movie that talks about the need to make quality education accessible to everyone.. @dhanushkraja 's acting is the major highlight.. Vaathi is presented by Srikara Studios and produced by Suryadeva Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas. In this film from the 1990s, Dhanush portrays Balamurugan, a teacher at a young age. The leading lady is played by Samyuktha Menon. In Telugu, the film is titled Sir. Seven Screen Studio, owned by Lalit Kumar, acquired the rights to distribute the film in Tamil Nadu.
