Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar have collaborated fourth time after Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. Popular film tracker and critic Ramesh Bala took us to Twitter and penned a decent review note on the family entertainer, he wrote "#Thiruchitrambalam [3.25/5] : A simple, Feel-good movie.. Romance and comedy.. @dhanushkraja 's home territory as a Middle class boy.. He has aced it @MenenNithya unusual role.. Kalanithi Maran is the banker of Mithran Jawahar's "Thiruchitrambalam" under the aegis of Sun Pictures. Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj also play significant roles in the movie, which also stars Dhanush in the lead role. Om Prakash handled the film's cinematography, and Prasanna GK handled the editing. The combination of Dhanush and Anirudh's affectionately popularised tag, DnA, seemed to work well, as made evident by the notoriety of previously released audiotracks. Despite a fairly pre-release response and media hype, Thiruchitrambalam managed to live up to all the hype surrounding it, especially among fans who got to see their favourite actor for the first time in a family-friendly storyline amid the action and serious masala drams.
