Exciting Update: Dhanush's second Tollywood debut D51 to kickstart soon!

Dhanush, the versatile actor and director, is all set to dazzle his fans with two back-to-back releases in December this year and January 2024. The star, who is celebrating his 50th film as a lead actor, has been busy with multiple projects in different genres and languages.

According to latest reports from the insiders, Dhanush’s next film, D51, is a mega budget entertainer directed by Sekhar Kammula,  will begin from January 2024 in a set in Mumbai or Cochin. And the star will be changing his look for this film after completing the initial post-production works of D50.

Sekar Kammula who is known for his realistic and romantic films. The film is a political thriller that will see Dhanush sharing screen space with Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. The film also has Sai Pallavi and Priyanshu Chatterjee in important roles. The film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and has music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh.

His 50th film, D50, is a gangster drama which he helms and stars in. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures and features an ensemble cast of S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Nithya Menen and Kalidas Jayaram. The film has music by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Prasanna GK. 

Dhanush will also be seen in Captain Miller, a period action drama directed by Arun Matheswaran. The film features Dhanush as a freedom fighter who leads a group of rebels against British rule. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Nivdhithaa Sathish and John Kokken in pivotal roles. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar and is expected to release in early 2024.
