Fresh Trouble for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo! Seeman urges Vijay to change the title to Tamil

Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to weave his magic again with his upcoming movie 'Leo', which follows his a record-breaking hit 'Vikram'. The film boasts of an ensemble cast with Vijay and Trisha in the lead, currently shooting in the picturesque locations of Kashmir. However, the movie recently faced a backlash from politician and filmmaker Seeman, who reportedly expressed his concern over the English title 'Leo'.

Seeman, in a media interaction, reportedly suggested that Vijay should take up the responsibility of being a public figure and change the title of his film to a Tamil one. According to him, since the movie will be watched by Tamil audiences, its title should also be in Tamil. The filmmaker went on to add that Tamil as a language should be protected by the people before it reaches its extinction.

The movie commenced its shoot on 2nd January 2023, and is set to hit the silver screens on 19th October 2023. With such a talented cast and crew, 'Leo' is expected to be yet another masterstroke by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, produced by Lalith Kumar and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.

Leo also boasts a talented ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and Mysskin. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. The action sequences are choreographed by Anbariv, and Philomin Raj serves as the editor. The art direction is done by N. Sathees Kumar.
