Gautham Menon reveals his role in Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo and how he joined the project

Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Leo’ is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, boasts of a star-studded cast that includes ace filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon. In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Gautham Menon opened up about his role in ‘Leo’ and how he came on board for this project.

According to Gautham Menon, he agreed to film 'Leo' for Lokesh Kanagaraj, who had previously approached him for a role in 'Vikram,' but he ultimately was unable to take the part due to time constraints. Since he signed on for 'Leo,' he's been kept in the loop, he said, and Lokesh offered him a pivotal role playing alongside Thalapathy Vijay throughout the film.

'Leo's entire cast and crew got high marks from director Gautham Menon for their professionalism and enthusiasm on set. He also revealed that he did not share many on-screen moments with the film's other major character, director Mysskin. He spoke highly of Vijay, describing him as a pleasant and modest coworker.

‘Leo’ is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and features Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mathew Thomas and many others in pivotal roles. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Manoj Pramahamsa. The film is slated to hit the screens on October 19.

After wrapping up filming in Kashmir, the crew of "Leo" moved on to Chennai. Fans  anticipate the film to be a rising action thriller with countless surprising plot elements. Thalapathy Vijay's new look in 'Leo' has fans excited to see him in a different role.
