Exactly on September 24th 2019, the clouds of Chennai city had witnessed the final furor minutes of a hooligan who was encountered by the police department in his house in what we can be able to report that this has been the second encounter since June 15th where one of the notorious hooligans in the city Vallarasu was killed.
Manikandan, one of the popular faces on the pages of rowdyism in the state and especially in Villupuram district after he has been allegedly camping the illegal grounds of selling cannabis, brutal killings and prostitution for many years in the district that had threatened and disturbed the lives of the people and as like for every business markets, the grounds of rowdyism might rise up the feud and enmity between the hooligans and Manikandan doesn't seemed to be rowdy-ing with exceptional as his growth has oiled the rise of the hooligan Boopalan in his district after which their respective camps had negotiated and countered the rise by killing most of their opposite groups.

The Superintendents of police in Villupuram had equally urged and advised the camps of the hooligans to barricade their atrocities in the district but these camps were seemingly deafened on their warnings after which Manikandan had got about 28 complaints registered against him in Auroville, Mayilam, Gingee and Tiruvanammalai police stations under the grounds of brutal killings.
The police authorities had cited that in 2010, the Boopalan's camp had reportedly killed brother of Manikandan that had fueled the enmity on each other's aisle after which Manikandan had unprecedentedly committed crimes that eventually had brought him under 'encounter' list. In 2015, he had filed an affidavit to the Superintendent of Police Villupuram district, Amalraj where he expressed that his opposite camp has been allegedly flagging the crimes under his name and pleaded to show mercy on him as he had wished to live a peaceful life.

But unfortunately, he failed to kept his word where he again resumed his atrocities and in 2018, he has been accused with the brutal killing of a politician in Puducherry and after being speculated his proven involvement in the case, the police department of Villupuram had constituted a special team to take Manikandan down and with having possible inputs that Manikandan had moved to Chennai with his family one month before, the special team had surrounded the residential area of where he resides on September 24th and after citing the presence of police in his house, Manikandan had abruptly armed with scythe which he used to target the police team following which the police team had shot down him the local residents had cited that they heard three gunshots that had killed Manikandan.
The reliable sources had stated that this encounter has been done around 6.15 pm but it was officially confirmed by 7 pm and indicated that the police had encountered him as he has been attempting to assassinate one of the important person close to the ruling party of Tamil Nadu.
