How many liters of blood the people have to spill in the banner-ism state?

After being claimed the lives of two young techies in Tamil Nadu, the state government doesn't seemed to have been initiated a stringent legislation against the erection of illegal banners which had portrayed its political apathy and its respect towards the people. The government has muted itself from ruling out the directives of the Madras High court and the fierce voices of the state activists.

The recent one that had shocked the state was the death of 23 year old Subhasree who lost her life while one of the hundred banners had crashed on her two wheeler while she was driving in one of the busiest roads of Chennai. She had reportedly lost her control on the drive after being hit by the banner where she was thrown out in the middle of the road before being rammed by the truck which was driving behind her. The reports say that these banners were illegally erected by the former Councillor of the ruling party with the motive to invite the Chief and Deputy Chief ministers to attend his son's marriage.

Subhasree had been cremated along with her hopes, dreams and aspirations and her parents, who had sent off their daughter to the office in morning were now been pushed to give her a final farewell. While speaking to Vasantha Kumar, one of the social activists living in that area had said that this Radial road can also be named as the road of demons that stretches for about eleven kilometers from Pallavaram to Thoraipakkam and this road houses a toll gate but the authorities had failed to efficiently maintain the road. He further stated that this road has the presence of nearly ten marriage halls which had incited the public and party men to erect the banners and this road has been occupied only for erecting illegal banners which had led for many accidents and along with that, it also has many unlicensed bars that would be filled by the sots.

He revealed that there are many flats that were built by cementing the lake and illegal transportation of alluvial soil after the authorities had pictured their inefficiency to take necessary actions and another social activist had furnished that he was one among the fellow activists to get detained by the city police after he reportedly attempted to remove the banners that were erected illegally near to the residence of the then Chief minister Jayalalithaa three years ago and further questioned the authorities and the state government that Subhasree could have been alive if they had taken necessary actions against the illegal banners.

The Madras High court had turned tough towards the state government where the high court bench had asked the government that how many liters of blood the government need to respect the lives of people and after slammed by the High court, the ruling party had asked its party men to avoid erecting the banners and hoardings.
