In a grand unveiling of stars from all over the nation,ย the makers of the much-anticipated film 'Indian 2,' featuring the iconic actor Kamal Haasan and helmed by the acclaimed director Shankar, have released a visually stunning two-minute intro teaser. This teaser not only captures the essence of the first instalment, released in 1996 but also presents an intriguing glimpse into the sequel's narrative.

The teaser opens with a flashback to the climax of the original 'Indian,' where Kamal Haasan, in a foreign setting, reaffirms his commitment to combating injustice wherever it exists. The teaser then delves into the prevalent issue of corruption, depicting government officials demanding bribes from the general public for employment opportunities and contracts.

This powerful portrayal resonates with the theme of the first film, as citizens unite against corruption, giving rise to the trending hashtag #comebackIndian. A poignant aspect of the teaser is the presence of the late actors Manobala and Vivek, marking their final appearance on screen. Their inclusion adds emotional depth to the film, making it a significant tribute to their legacy.

According to reports, director Shankar has ambitious plans for the series, intending to simultaneously work on the third part. Kamal Haasan, demonstrating his dedication to the project, has allocated forty days for the film's shooting.
