The makers of the film have shared a vintage poster of the film, featuring Kamal Haasan in his iconic look and took the fans to the classic memory lane, as the film debuted in theatres on 9th May 1996.

Shankar is also reportedly planning to direct a historical epic based on the novel ‘Velpari’ by Su Venkatesan.

He posted a picture of himself in a white casual outfit, holding a camera in his style and exploring the scenic beauty around him.

The crew is now gearing up for a major schedule in South Africa, where they plan to shoot a massive train action sequence for two weeks.

Donning a dapper denim t-shirt, Kamal Haasan looked every bit the star that he is, as he embarks on this exciting adventure.

The film will also feature a star-studded cast of supporting actors, including Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar.  

Interestingly, it is also the first musical collaboration for S. Thaman with Shankar, after making his acting debut in Boys.

And if this came to be true, it will be whopping to see the star's first collaboration with this visionary director. 

The plot of the movie is expected to be a political action entertainer, with a whopping budget of around 200 crore rupees.

'Indian 2' will see Kamal Haasan in the lead role, alongside Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh.
