Its Bagasuran vs Balamurugan! For the first time in history... these actor brothers to clash on screen

Selvaragahvan made his debut in acting with the film ‘Beast’ and went on impressed with his deadly portrayal in Arun Matheswaran's Saani Kaayidham. His last directorial Naane Varuven with his brother and actor Dhanush in the lead, released on September  last year and made the Kollywood to talk good words on the film for days, as they both collaborated after long years.

Now these two biggies to carry a brotherly war on screen as their upcoming films to release on same day for the first time in their film career. As per reports, Dhanush's first bilingual Tamil-Telugu film Vaathi directed by Venky Atluri and Selvaraghavan's Bagasuran directed by Mohan G to be released on the same date on February 17th 2023.

Popular film analyst took to Twitter and wrote, "You would have witnessed the "Brothers of destruction" playing for the same team when @selvaraghavan directs a movie for @dhanushkraja but this time, it’s entirely different! The next big face off clash is between the brothers themselves - #Bakasuran & #Vaathi from Feb 17th" Selvaraghavan also confirmed the clash by sharing his actorial Bagasuran's release date by writing, "See you all Feb 17 th in theatres ! Protect what's yours !"

Besides Selvaraghavan, Natti Nataraj is also playing a crucial role in Bakasuran where veteran actor Radha Ravi, Rajan K, Rams, and Saravanan Subbiah are among others who have played vital role in the movie. Devaraj S and Farook J Basha have handled editing and cinematography respectively for the project. Mirattal Selva has choreographed action sequences while Johny has composed dance moves.

Meanwhile Vaathi directed by Venky Atluri Dhanush portrays Balamurugan ( Bala Gangadhar Tilak), a junior lecturer. Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, plays the crucial supporting roles. The story of Vaathi which revolves around equal education and shady educational practices whereas Selvaraghavan's Bakasuran deals with wrong deeds on women who compelled into prostitution.
