Telugu Superstar Krishna, who is the father of star actor Mahesh Babu, passed away earlier today, November 15, at the age of 79. After being admitted to the hospital on November 14 after having suffered a massive cardiac arrest, the veteran actor breathed his last at around 4 am today.

While the entire film fraternity is in shock, stars from Kollywood have been mourning the demise of the veteran Telugu actor. In the same way, the latest tribute note came from actors and brothers Suriya and Karthi Sivakumar. On Tuesday, actor Suriya took to Twitter and wrote, "Our prayers and respects to Krishna garu, sending lots of love and strength to @urstrulymahesh and family. It’s been a tough year for you brother.. We are with you."

It's unfortunate to note that Mahesh Babu lost his brother, mother, and father this year. Karthi extended moral support for Mahesh, by writing a condolence note, in which he said, "Dear @urstrulyMahesh, Krishna Garu entertained audiences worldwide for so many years & he will stay in our hearts forever. He was a superstar who lived a complete life. Please, stay strong brother. It has been a very difficult year. My prayers and thoughts are with you. #RIPKrishnaGaru".

It is worth noting that Mahesh and Karthi attended the same school in Chennai. Earlier on Tuesday, prominent leads like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have paid tribute to the actor. The ace actor Krishna was a successful director and producer. He was also awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2009.
