Simbu is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film 'Pathu Thala', directed by Obeli N Krishna, the film has already created quite a buzz among Simbu's fans, who are eagerly waiting to watch their favorite star back in action on screens. In the surprise development, the actor's next venture #STR48 is officially confirmed with a enticing motion poster.

Simbu's next project has been confirmed with Rajkamal Films International, and director Desingh Periyasamy. The actor took to Twitter on Thursday evening, to make the announcement, captioning it with "Dreams do come true". This venture also will be the 56th project for Kamal's production house. Joining the excitement, Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan also shared few words on this powerful union by writing in Tamil, "Cinema connects generations; lessen the gaps. Cheers to youth and talent! @SilambarasanTR_ @desingh_dp"

The poster tagged with a intriguing cite, 'Blood and Battle', 'Raging in 2024', which is already grabbing the attention of fans and movie buffs alike. The released motion poster of the film is giving a strong gangster vibe, which has made fans even more excited for the release. The film is reportedly backed by Kamal Hassan and Mahendran. R.

It's worth to remember that Simbu's last film, 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', was also a gangster drama and also his next release Pathu Thala which also have the same shade. Director Desingh Periyasamy, who made his debut with the romantic-comedy 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal', was well-received by the audience and critics alike and it starred Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma in the lead roles.

Meanwhile Pathu Thala will be hit theatres on March 30th 2023. The film is produced by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja's Studio Green and music by legendary compose A R Rahman. Alongside Simbu, the film stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Teejay, Joe Malloori, Gautham Menon, Redin Kingsley, and others.
