KGF actor Krishna G Rao passes away: Film Celebrities pay tribute!

Actor Krishna G Rao, a veteran actor in the Kannada film industry, has passed away. On Wednesday, December 7th, he passed away at the age of 70 in Bengaluru. Prashanth Neel's KGF film made Krishna a household name as the blind old man. He also appeared in over 30 movies apart from the KGF series. Reports say that he was admitted to the intensive care unit after developing a lung infection. 

Krishna G Rao played the blind man in the KGF, where a scene with Yash battling the factory bad guys, while they were trying to kill the blind man, Rocky Bhai came to his aid. This scene and the actor's dialogue in the KGF Chapter 2, ‘'Let me give you a piece of advice. Don't go to stand in his way sir," became very popular.

As per reports, Krishna was at his relative's house. He began whining about being exhausted at twelve o'clock at midnight, prompting a visit to the hospital. Raveena Tandon, who played the Prime Minister of India role in KGF 2,  took to Twitter to offer condolences to Krishna G Rao's family members. She wrote, "Condolences to his family and the entire family of #kgf , #KGFChapter2"

The KGF production house expressed their grief over the demise of the actor. Taking to their Twitter page, Hombale Films depicted their condolences, posted a still of the actor, and wrote, "Condolences from Hombale film team on the passing away of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Tata by KGF fans. Om Shanti."
