The Kollywood town eagerly await for Simbu's upcoming film, and the teaser of his latest, 'Pathu Thala,' has already sent the internet into a frenzy. The teaser, launched yesterday at Chennai which promises an action-packed thrill ride, and fans are already counting down the days until the film's release. In the event, the director of the film Obeli N Krishna made some exciting revelations about the film, including the fact that Arya and Sayyeshaa will be making important cameo appearances.

At the teaser event, Krishna revealed that Arya and Sayyeshaa will be making important cameos, adding even more star power to an already impressive cast. In suprising note, it was also revealed that the director himself acted in a brief part in the film. Krishna also clarified that while 'Pathu Thala' is based on the Kannada film 'Mufti,' it is not a complete remake. Rather, only five or six scenes from the original will be featured, giving the film its own unique identity.

He further emphasized that Kalaiyarasan and Deejay will be playing incredibly significant roles that will be the talk of the town after the movie's release. Alongside Simbu, the film stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Teejay, Joe Malloori, Gautham Menon, Redin Kingsley, and others. The audio launch event, scheduled to take place in Chennai on March 18th, 2023 as per reports.

Obeli. N. Krishna is returning to Tamil filmmaking after eight years; this has increased anticipation for the film, as both of his previous efforts-  Sillunu Oru Kaadhal and Nedunchalai, were commercial successes. Namma Satham, Pathu Thala's debut single in the voice of Isai Puyal was just released and has already reached number one on the rankings.

It's worth noting that Krishna recently discussed  in a major media outlet about the casting of Silambarasan as a middle-aged member of the Mine Mafia  He also said that Silambarasan, who had slimmed down for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, had put on weight for Pathu Thala so that he could pass for a 40-year-old mine mafia member. The music composed by AR Rahman, the post digital streaming rights bagged by Amazon Prime Video.

The plot of the original flick 'Mufti' centres on Gana, a police officer who must undertake a covert operation to track down and eliminate the crime lord Bhairathi Ranagal. Fans won't have to wait too long to see the film in its entirety, as it is slated to hit theaters on March 30th, 2023. Produced by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja, 'Pathu Thala' promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience, and fans are eagerly anticipating the premiere to see their favorite stars in action.
