Leo: Here's the awaiting glimpse of Second Single from the Vijay's actioner! Video goes viral within a day

The spotlight falls on "Badass," the second single from the Leo soundtrack, and it's poised to pack a punch. The creators behind the much-anticipated cinematic masterpiece, "Leo," have unveiled the most awaited update of the second single. Making their announcement by taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), they have dropped a bombshell as the second single is titled "Badass".

Written by Vishnu Edavan glimpse featured the distinctive voice of  Anirudh Ravichander, who composed for the film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj himself took to X, christening the film's enigmatic protagonist, Leo Das, he wrote, "Mr. #LeoDas is a #Badass #LeoSecondSingle #BadassFromToday6PM #LEO". The glimpse video which was released last night, already crossed 2 million views, within a day of release. As per the update, the song will be unveiled at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

With a colossal budget hovering between ₹250 to ₹300 crore, "Leo" emerges as a game-changer, for this year's releases. As the excitement mounts, a slight twist in the film's release schedule contributes to the intrigue. While early morning shows may be absent outside the confines of Tamil Nadu, the film's debut in the state is scheduled to grace the screens at 9 AM, as reported.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated audio launch, originally slated for September 30th, was regrettably cancelled by the meticulous team at Seven Screen Studio, the production house behind the film. Their decision, as officially stated, stems from the overwhelming surge in pass requests and, most notably, the paramount priority of safety concerns.

Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who co-wrote it with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. It is the third film in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio while Jagadish Palanisamy serves as co-producer.

The film stars Vijay and Trisha, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. Leo is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on 19 October 2023 in standard, and IMAX formats.
