‘Leo’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year, as it marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the blockbuster ‘Master’. The film is said to be a stylish and action-packed thriller, with Vijay playing a gangster with a heart of gold.

has a surprise element in the form of Mysskin. The director turned actor, who is known for his unconventional films and performances, has revealed his role in the upcoming film during a recent media interaction. Mysskin plays a short villain in ‘Leo’, who has a face-off with Vijay’s character.

Mysskin said that he signed the film for his affection towards Vijay, whom he had shared screen space with long years ago in Thamizhan. He also praised Lokesh Kanagaraj for his rise as a director and his ability to handle a star-studded cast. Mysskin also spoke about his fight scene with Vijay in ‘Leo’, which he said was challenging and thrilling.

Earlier the film's producer Lalit Kumar had earlier confirmed that the next big update of Leo will be on June 22, which happens to be Vijay’s birthday. The fans eagerly await the update, which could be a teaser, a poster or a song from the film. The title announcement video of Leo, which was released on February 3, had set the internet on fire with its fiery visuals and catchy music by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film is being made on a budget of Rs 250-300 crore and is being planned as a pan-Indian release in multiple languages. Vijay reportedly agreed to make Leo a pan-Indian film after being convinced by the producers to make it bigger and reach a wider audience.
