Leo: ‘Naa Ready’ poster gets a makeover after smoking backlash!

The countdown has begun for the release of Leo’s much-awaited action thriller, which is slated to hit the screens on October 19. The movie has been creating a lot of buzz with its songs and teasers, especially the song ‘Naa Ready’, which was crooned by none other than Vijay himself.

The poster of the song featuring actor Vijay holding a gun and a cigarette became a hot topic of discussion, sparking different opinions among the audience. While some appreciated the visual impact, others criticized it for glorifying smoking and setting a bad example for the youth. 

The movie makers responded to the feedback by releasing a new poster of the song, featuring Vijay without the cigarette. The gun, being an essential part of the movie's plot, remains in his hand. The makers' creative response to the criticism showed their sensitivity towards the audience's concerns. 

The new poster was well received by fans and netizens, who appreciated the makers' effort in addressing the criticism constructively. The new visual representation of the song demonstrated how creative solutions can be found to address concerns while maintaining the essence of the story.

The movie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which is coming to theatres on 19th October 2023, where Vijay,  Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, and Mansoor Ali Khan. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio
